Magnetic circuit of shape of ring has a mean air gap length g = 1mm. The area of the core and air gap can be assumed to be the same and fringing is negligible. The cross-sectional area is 1cm^2

Coil one has 100 turns and coil two has 100 turns. The material has infinite permeability.

Determine the range of DC current that can be applied to coil 2 without saturating the core when coil 1 has a steady 10A DC current in the direction that makes the flux flow CW on the ring . The Current at coil 2 has the same direction as the current of coil 1. Assume saturation occurs at a flux density of 1.7 T
