1. Determine the peak-to-peak current ripple in the output inductor for a forward converter and determine the output voltage ripple of the converter . We know the following parameters: duty cycle d, input voltage Vin, turn ratio: N1/N2, switching frequency fs, output inductance L, output capacitance C.?

 

2. For a push-pull converter discussed in the lecture, two switches and four windings (two primary-secondary pairs) are used. For a period of T, the first switch turns on for dT. After a deadtime, the second switch turns on for dT, followed by the same deadtime. In total, in the period T, there are two turn-on times for two switches, and two deadtimes. Now, we assume the two primary and the secondary windings are identical, having turn ratio of N1:N2. Derive the voltage conversion ratio (Vout/Vin)?
