Assume the coil around the toroid is one single coil and extends all the way around. A toroid is like a donut with a circular cross section. The following characteristics are given: Toroid material = sheet steel, N = 250 turns Inner Radius = 20cm Outer Radius = 25cm I = 2.5 Amps Determine: (a) Magnetic flux density using the mean radius of the toroid. (b) Inductance of the coil, assuming the flux density is the same throughout as found in (a).
