A ball of mass m is moving around in a circle of radius r1 =3ft with speed v1 = 6ft/s on the horizontal table. The cord shown is connected to the ball and runs through the hole in the table at O down to the small handle at B. Someone then starts to pull downward on the cord at B at a constant speed of 2 ft/s. Determine how far the ball is from O when it reaches a speed of 12 ft/s and how long it takes to reach that speed. Neglect friction, the weight of the cord, and the size of the ball.
