Suppose if the two genes below are 36 cM (map units) apart and an AABB individual and an aabb individual mate...
a) What gametes will the F1's produce and in what proportions?
Here's what I have so far, but I'm not sure what to do next with the information
Parentals = 64%Recombinants = 36%
And I feel like the gametes produced by the F1's should all be AaBb, according to the parental genotypes, but then wouldn't the proportion just be 36%? Or would it be 100%?
b) If the original cross were AAbb x aaBB, what gametes and proportions would be produced by the F1 individuals?
Once again, the gametes will all be AaBb for the F1 individuals, so not really sure what to do here.
