Question: As the new School Operations Officer/AP of Operations at LKA you will be responsible for designing and implementing positive school culture practices and systems. One of the key elements of your new school system is student rewards. Students receive points for behaviors aligned to the school core values. These points translate into monthly incentives for the students.

You are proud of the system and the teachers are excited to implement it. You call the entire model, Lion Cash, and everything starts off strong. The students are invested in the weekly and monthly prizes, and parents are supportive. However, moving into November, you notice that the Lion cash no longer seems to inspire the students. In fact, in a recent school wide parent meeting, students responded poorly to next month's incentive. Upon further investigation, you discover that ½ the school team is not regularly using the points, and almost 50% of your students have never received enough points to earn a prize.
