Bipolar Wellness and Independent Living Program (BWILP)
Program Purpose
The purpose of BWILP would be to help individuals with bipolar disorder develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their condition, improve their quality of life, and participate more successfully in their families, schools, workplaces, and communities.
The program would not replace psychiatric treatment. Instead, it would function as a supportive service that works alongside participants’ existing medical and mental health providers.
