1.) Design each of the circuits specified in the Procedure section of this lab. Your design should attempt to get within § 5 % of the specified gain. All designs are to use standardcommercial 5 % resistors. You may only use a single resistor for each calculated value. Complete all work in yourlaboratory journal.
2.) Your designs must include bias compensation. This means that the resistance to ground (with all sources dead) must be approximately the same at the ¡ and + inputterminals. (When all sources are dead, both the input and the output appear to be grounded.)
Design black box to the following specifications. A. Input Signal to Black Box A 1. A 1 kHz cosine wave with amplitude of 1V. B. Output Signal from Black Box A 1. A 1 kHz sine wave with amplitude of 5V.
The cylindrical surface ρ = 8 cm contains the surface charge density ρs = 5e -20|z| nC/m2. (a) What is the total amount of charge present. Not so concerned about the answer but more about the process.
Derive a system diagram for a frequency-modulated transmitter and explain the function of each stage and detect and reproduce (demodulate) the message signal. Measure the frequency of the detected signal and compare that with the frequency of the m..
A plane wave is obliquelyincident on a perfectly conducting half-space. The magnetic field is perpendicular to the plane ofincidence. The incident E has an amplitude of1V/m,and the incident angle is θi. a. Write the fields in each region.
In a silicon bar uniformly dopes with 10^16 phosphorus atoms per cubic cm and 5*10^14 boron atoms per cubic cm. Calculate the mobile electron and hole concentrations for this bar.
If the fundamental frequency of a square wave is 10 kHz, what are the first three frequency components contained in the square wave
When you get to work one day you see that the station is delivering 6.0 MW of power with a power factor cosf=0.9. What is rms current. How much capacitance you should add in series to bring the power factor to 1.0. How much power the station will b..
A compensated op-amp has an open loop low frequency gain of 10^5 and an open loop -3db frequency of 10 Hz. If an inverting amplifier with a closed loop low frequency gain of 100 uses this op-amp, determine the closed loop bandwidth.
A DSSS-CDMA signal has a chip sequence that is 10,000 chips in length. The sequence repeats every millisecond. What is the chip rate?
Consider the current it takes to power a +5V 74xx245(Icc). What is the qualitative difference between the CMOS devices and the non-CMOS devices and the non-CMOS devices What is the explanation for the difference
a 20 mH inductor with an internal resistance of 20 ohms is connected in series with a capacitor and a voltage source with a thevenin resistance of 60 ohms. a. what value of C will be needed to produce Wo = 6 krad/s
If vid is 20-mV peak-to-peak sine wave applied in a balanced manner but superimposed on VCM = 0.5 V, what is the value that VDD must have to ensure saturation-mode operation for Q1 and Q2 at all times. Assume Vt = 0.5 V.
