QUESTION - In a scientific study, electroencephalogram (EEG) data was acquired from subjects. However, it was found that the signal from the EEG was affected by two problems. The first was caused by noise from the mains, improperly filtered. The signal was also found to ride on a very large DC offset, which was considered undesirable.

Design a simple operational based circuit to solve the problem.

Construct and simulate the circuit you design in National instruments Multisim.

Obtain the design for a Sallen Key topology filter that would eliminate the two noise sources in the acquired signal.

Simulate the design in Multisim.
