Question:

An apartment with four people located in the third floor. The height from the ground to the apartment is 6 m. A water tank is located on the ground. The water level in the tank stay at 1.0 m.

A piping system contains a pump to pump the water to the apartment kitchen and to the shower room.

Design a piping system that delivers water to the kitchen and shower outlet. Also size (select) the pump.

The same apartment needs cooling system. Determine the cooling load. In another word, calculate the power needed to run an air-conditioning system (s).

It is best idea to get an apartment plan either from consulting company, friends, or from internet. Decide the wall and roof structure, number of windows, outside door, etc.
