Exercise 1. In this lab investigation, you will research and discuss if disposable diapers seriously impact the environment. Perform a web search and identify the components used in disposable diapers, the time it will take them to biodegrade in a landfill, and the overall impact they have on the environment.

Exercise 2. Design a new product. "Build" your new product. Explain each step (5 step minimum) in the building process and how much waste is produced at each step and where it ends up. How/why can a certain car company say they have "zero landfill" when they manufacture their car? Cite all references.

Exercise 3. Based on your virtual field trips to the current landfill and the landfill under construction, identify three differences and indicate how the landfill under construction will be superior to the old landfill for each difference.
