Design a Double Sideband Amplitude Modulation (DSBAM) modulator and demodulator system using the SystemView software. The modulating wave m(t) = Amcos(2?fmt) and the carrier wave c(t) = Accos(2?fct) have the following parameters, respectively:
Am = 2V, fm = 200Hz, Ac = 1V, fc = 1kHz.
The modulator has an amplitude sensitivity ka = 0.4.
i) Write the mathematical expression of the DSBAM signal s(t) and determine the value of the modulation index ?.
ii) Sketch the DSBAM waveform to scale and label the maximum and minimum peaks.
iii) Draw a SystemView block diagram of your DSBAM modulator and demodulator with all the tokens and their parameters clearly labeled and indicated.
