Design a two-stage switching network, using 4×4 switches, to connect 16 incoming trunks to 16 outgoing trunks, using a consistent numbering arrangement for associating the switches with the links.
(b) A link network is required to connect 64 incommunig trunks to 64 outgoing trunks. All itsswitches are to be of equal size and 64 links are to be provided at each stage.
Suggest a suitable size of switch to use in
(i) a two stage network, (ii) a four stage network. Sketch these networks.
