TROPICAL RAINFOREST IS MY BIOME

1. A complete description of your Biome's unique characteristics.
   1. In an FRQ on the AP test you could be required to define/describe what characteristics are used to classify each of these Biomes. For aquatic Biomes information should be related to Life Zones.
2. A typical Climatogram for your Biome 
   1. This shows average monthly temperatures and precipitation which explains why your biome exists in this location. Include an explanation. You may be required to analyze these on the AP test.
   2. If you have an aquatic Biome include the physical characteristics that your biome requires 
3. A map/illustration of the world that highlights your Biome only.
   1. Do not just print out a biome map. A world map should be colored/highlighted/drawn on to show where your biome is located. Other groups will show theirs!
4. A description of your map explaining the geographic location of your Biome. 
   1. Should show latitude, longitude, elevation, political boundaries, physical features, etc.
5. Information about the types and amount of animals native to your Biome.
   1. At least five examples of the major species with pictures
6. Information about the types and amount of plants native to your Biome.
   1. At least five examples of the major species with pictures 
7. At least 2 adaptations that help organisms to survive in your specific Biome.
8. A food web using animals native to your Biome.
   1. This can be tricky. Please research this!!!
9. Identify 2 ways that your Biome is important Economically (Economic Services), and 
10. Identify 2 ways it is important Ecologically (Ecological Services)
11. Identify and explain the main causes of environmental damage to your biome.
    1. Explain activities that humans do to threaten your biome and any natural threats as well.
