A container of Bacillus megaterium powder on a shelf above a bench fell on to some containers holding liquid cultures of a non-pathogenic Escherichia coli (non-capsulated research strain) and Streptococcus mutans knocking them over spilling the contents onto the workbench. Thankfully you work with BSL1 microbes. You immediately collect some samples. Describe what the staining and morphology of each bacteria would look like when the culture is gram stained, capsule stained and the spore stain.
