In this module you had the opportunity to explore the strategic repositioning and the aspirations that some universities have in rebuilding their pathway forward en route to a new level of achievement. Describe what is meant by strategic repositioning and how a leader at the university level could utilize this task to indeed improve outcomes and enhance sustainability.

Provide at least a 250 words response, utilizing references from the text and/or supplemental reading. Also be sure to respond to at least two of your peers on the forum.

In this learning module you had the opportunity to explore topics of tenure and merit-based admission as well as some other topics associated with traditional university life. They discussed how these topics can potentially both get in the way of accelerating the opportunities for improving the overall institution and/or potentially, with innovation, be drivers of deeper levels of improvement or innovation. In this discussion question describe how these topics and others may indeed get in the way of innovation and the steps that modern schools are taking today to use them as tools to improve and sell the opportunities for success.
