The Banking and Financial Industry in Australia is often regarded as "too big to fail'. In 2018, after a number of banking and financial industry scandals, the Federal Government of Australia accepted calls for a Royal Commission into Banking and Financial Services.

Required - Write an essay that covers the following areas:

1. Choose a specific company whose conduct was regarded by the Royal Commissioner as inappropriate. Identify areas, via research sources, the nature of the alleged inappropriate behaviour.

2. Describe the practices of your chosen company from a socially responsible framework.

3. Using share market data, explain the effect on your chosen company's shareholders wealth the alleged malpractices have had since the beginning of 2018.

4. Explain whether sustainability and socially responsible outcomes should matter to your chosen company.

5. From your research, identify any changes to your chosen company's behaviour since the findings of the Royal Commission were released on 4 February 2019 and justify whether the you believe the changes are permanent.
