The purpose of this paper is for you to reflect on a sports broadcast to consider what all takes place in order to produce a sports broadcast.

Sections for paper:

1) Overview: Describe the event you are covering in this paper. What is it? What is its importance? How is the event framed by the broadcasters? How much airtime was the event given? (approx. 0.5 pages)

2) Team: Who are the broadcasters, sideline reporters, studio hosts, etc.? What is their background? What qualifies them to be covering the game? (approx. 0.5 pages)

3) Features: Describe features of the broadcast including the sound, video, graphics, pre-produced video or sound, replays, etc. Was there anything special or unique in this game? (approx. 0.75 page)

4) Advertising/Marketing: Describe the advertisements, live reads, graphics, in-stadium, commercial breaks, etc. Were there any common themes around the advertising? Was there one advertisement in particular that stood out? (approx. 0.75 page)

5) Summary: Describe your overall experience with critically analyzing a broadcast. Did it make you think differently about how a game is produced? Did it spark any excitement about a particular area of broadcasting? (approx. 0.5 pages)
