Assignment: Appraising Qualitative Research to Support Evidence-Based

Use medication reconciliation as a significant practice gap and search for a total of 4 qualitative (or mix method) studies that address the practice gap. Use the Johns Hopkins Research Evidence Appraisal Tool, Section II Qualitative Appraisal to appraise each of the qualitative studies you have selected for your practice gap.

Once the appraisal tool is complete, write a 1,200 to 1,500 words summary paper that includes a title page and references page. Do the following:

Queston I. Describe the conclusions the researcher arrived at in each article.

Queston J. Based on your assessment of each article, define which articles will be included in your EBP change and which articles would be excluded.

Queston K. Provide a rationale for each.

Queston L. Provide a summary of what was presented in this paper.
