You receive handover from the previous nurse who mentions John has 'a couple of broken ribs on the right side', is now tachypnoeic and requiring supplemental oxygen to maintain Sp02 >95%. The medical team reviewed John on arrival and have noted the plan of care to include close observation due to risk for pneumothorax.
