Assessment Details

You are expected to write a thoroughly researched/analysed critical business report for assignment 1, and 2. on the following.

You have been hired as a consultant for the organization (in the TURIST industry) you have been selected for this project due to your exceptional credentials. The CTO of the selected organization has identified "Voice Recognition" as emerging technology which could have real commercial viability for their organization.

You need to research the trends and explain potential applicability of "Voice Recognition" within the selected organization.

Prepare a briefing report for CTO which analyses "Voice Recognition". Perform a feasibility and viability (business model canvas and value proposition) for "Voice Recognition" to determine the business model / value proposition in the selected organization. Develop the product or a processes roadmap by outlining the minimal viable product/services or a process. Develop a cost benefit analysis for "Voice Recognition" in the selected industry.

In this course, there are two components which need to be submitted as a professional business report (each report should be a complete document in its own right) to the Chief Technology Officer of the major organisation of your own choice in the TOURIST industry.

Assignment 1 - Business Case

In this professional business report, you must at least cover the following points adequately:
- Identify and synthesise existing technology analysis and trends (issues) in the selected organization in the industry mentioned above. (one-page maximum).
- Describe scope of "Voice Recognition" in the selected organization in the industry mentioned above. (one-page maximum).
- Provide the problem statement and benefits "Voice Recognition" can solve issues identified earlier in the selected organization in the industry mentioned above. (one-page maximum).
- Business model canvas in the context of "Voice Recognition" in the selected organization in the industry mentioned above. (one-page maximum).
- Technology analysis and trends in the context of "Voice Recognition" in the in the industry mentioned above. (1-2, page maximum).
- Alignment of business model and value proposition (1-2, page maximum).
- Identify the different customer segments to whom the product/process will be valuable
- Outline a representative customer journey
- Recommendation & Conclusion (half -page maximum).

Assignment 2 - Strategy Plan

In this professional business report, you must at least cover the following points adequately:

- Strategy
- Discuss the short-term strategy to launch the MVP and validate the product/process (3-4-page maximum).
- Mission, vision, goals, objectives, strategies and tactics
- Hypothesis / Use Cases / Experiments which you want to validate / invalidate as part of your short-term strategy to inform your product/services/process roadmap
- Cost benefit analysis
- Discuss the longer-term strategy to iterate the product/services/process with additional features and to develop a viable business model (3-4, page maximum).
- Mission, vision, goals, objectives, strategies and tactics
- Hypothesis / Use Cases / Experiments which you want to validate / invalidate as part of your short-term strategy to inform your product/process/services roadmap
- Cost benefit analysis
- Product/services roadmap and minimal viable product/services/process for "Voice Recognition" (two-page maximum).
- Identify the issues and integrations of "Voice Recognition" in the selected organization. (one-page maximum).
- Recommendation & Conclusion (half -page maximum).
