Assignment: Case Study

A case study related to an area of operations management in an actual organisation will be provided to each group by the second week.
Prepare a report as per the following instructions and including all your findings from the analysis and the recommendations:

Identify three existing or potential operational issues in the case study provided to your group. You should research the case study online for more information. Expert help in every subject - assignment help just a click away!

For each issue:
State which area of operations management the issue fits within.
Describe the issue to clearly show why it is an issue
Describe how it impacts on the operations management function
What the probable impact on costs (and/or) revenue will be if this issue is not fixed.

Suggest solutions for each of the identified issues based on your understanding of operations management tools and techniques. Solutions may apply the knowledge gathered in the class and additional sources such as books, articles, and websites.
(NOTE: If the case study includes a solution to some of the issues you may use that as one of your solutions.)
For each issue:
Explain one possible solution to the issue.
Describe the probable impact of the solution on the issue.
Describe how the solution will impact on costs (and/or) revenue.

State how your proposed solution (or the solution given in the case study) fits within one of the following continuous improvement methodologies: PDCA, Kaizen, Six-sigma, Value stream mapping, Lean manufacturing, TQM.

For each solution:
Explain how the solution fits the continuous improvement strategy.
Clearly explain the main concepts/components of the selected continuous improvement strategy in relation to the case study.

Ensure that the cover page signed by all the group members is attached. Additionally, attach a sheet (next to the cover page) briefly describing the Individual Contribution made by each member in the group (maximum 75 words per member).
