You will have to do outside research for this part--research emerging Marketing trends.
Marketing Research - sketch a preliminary plan outlining 1 piece of specific market research you would like to do related to your product (for example, a survey of potential consumers, or use of existing consumer data in your area, etc.). This can be achieved in a single, descriptive paragraph concisely written to cover who you want to collect data from, as well as the when, where and how.
Target Market - identify in a descriptive paragraph both your ideal target market for your product and the appropriate means of segmenting and targeting them
Positioning - Define positioning. Consider the information on a unique selling proposition (USP) and identify the USP that you plan to use in branding this product
Initial Image - Present an initial image that you believe represents the way in which you would like to brand your product. This first image selection is important in that it will help set a visual tone for your product. Flip through the text and look at the advertising and promotional images present, you may also look online at examples of advertisements and images. Remember to incorporate words, the name of the product or company, into your image.
In a paragraph, discuss in detail the selection and creation process of this image, what you are striving for in terms of branding, positioning, imagery, etc. by using this image. This paragraph should help us understand what the image is supposed to present and create in the consumer, such that if it doesn't, we can address the disconnect. In other words, you are detailing in a paragraph (or more) what the image is attempting to convey/evoke regarding your product
