Question: The National Preparedness Goal: First Edition, released in September 2011, set forth core capabilities that include mitigation, preparation, and protection.

Visit the websites of your city, state, and FEMA. (The City is Atlanta Georgia) Describe at least two resources offered by your city or state and at least two resources offered through FEMA to assist individuals in preparing for a disaster. Describe how the programs or resources work and how individuals or businesses in the community can access these resources. How is the evolution of homeland security strategy reflected in these resources? Be sure to summarize, paraphrase, and cite the information.
