1. Share the techniques you use to relate to others in the workplace. Briefly describe a conflict and how you solved it. Indicate if you used any of the tips you provided in your post. Respond to one of your classmate's posts with alternate suggestions for how to resolve the conflict described in his or her post.

2. Discuss past job interviews that you have had and what you feel you did right and where you feel you could have improved. Refer back to "The Virtual Interview" on page 78 in your textbook. How do you feel about virtual interviews, and why?

3. Everyone feels the need for order in their lives. Design principles help artists organize their artwork.

Describe how the principles of design are similar to the way we accomplish order in our daily lives. For example, you could relate rhythm to the things you pass on your way to work. Make sure you describe how you use most or all of the ones in Chapter 4: Unity and variety, balance, emphasis, directional forces, contrast, repetition and rhythm, and scale and proportion.

4. Make a short list of all the graphic design encounters you experience on a daily basis. Identify the designs you thought were most effective. Discuss how these designs were persuasive and visually captivating by pointing out specific visual information such as color, type, design, etc. You can also identify unsuccessful designs and describe the ineffective qualities.
