Research Presentation
Based on your findings from your annotated bibliography, you should complete a 4-6 minute presentation summarizing your findings and answering the research question. You will provide strategies and information to peers as you would in a scholarly setting or PLC.
Your presentation should be professional and accurately communicate your knowledge of developmentally appropriate strategies for teaching and learning. Get it done!
Your presentation should include details about the following:
Clear communication of your research question and thesis (0.25 points)
Inclusion of details from your five empirical articles used to answer your research question (2.5 points)
A conclusion emphasizing the importance of the thesis in reference to today's classroom practice, including how this can impact your teaching and practice for your teaching career. (1 point)
Written and visual components of presentation are organized and assist in communicating key points to the viewing audience (1 point)
APA citation for all paraphrased or quoted material and references (0.25 points)
Your presentation will not be accepted and graded if these requirements are not followed.
Your presentation should be clearly organized with some type of media to structure and share the resources (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc). Do not show your paper on the screen and read from it.
