Optimal control of a driveline clutch for jerk minimization during gear shifts. 10-15 pages double space.

Description: Closed loop control of a driveline clutch during gear shifts. The objectives are as follows:

- derive the plant model for an automatic transmission system

- design a state space controller with state feedback based on the performance objectiveof minimizing the peak shift jerk.

- study the stability of the closed loop system

- build a SIMULINK model of the plant and the controller

- simulate you controller performance for both open loop and closed loop system

- discuss the results obtained from simulation .
