An asynchronous sequential circuit has two inputs, x1 and x2, and an output Z. Input x2 is driven by a noise-free switch. The circuit is to be designed such that a pulse on input x1 occurring after x2 has been pressed is transmitted to Z. Derive the excitation and output equations for the circuit.
