I will be going over and demonstrating how to simplify expressions, what that means and why it is done. Understanding the properties of real numbers is a great place to start when simplifying an expression. There are many ways to go about solving and simplifying an expression but one must first evaluate it in order to decide where to start. If there is just the need for combining like terms to simplify it then that will be the only step taken. However, there are many expressions that need multiple steps in order to simplify them just like in real life situations.
