Length: Role plays 15 minutes + Reflection 500 words (No 10% leeway over prescribed word count).

To complete this assessment, you are required to participate in a 15-minute role play, demonstrating skills of collaborative and competency-based approaches, and then reflect upon the experience. Specifically, for your role play you will:

1. Select either a Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) or Narrative Therapy (NT) approach to use as the "counsellor" in your role play.

2. Work with another student who will act the role of the client. The "client" selects the topic to talk about - one that is not a current concern for them and something that they are comfortable talking about.

3. Demonstrate SFT practices (e.g. best hopes, preferred future, instances/exceptions) or NT practices (e.g. externalising, re-authoring conversations, re-membering conversations) in a congruent and helpful way. Hire best assignment help service online!

4. Apply postmodern principles, holding on to multiple perspectives and privileging the client's knowledge and skills.

For your reflection, you will:

1.Reflect on your use of SFT or NT practices and application of postmodern principles in a 500-word reflection.

• Your reflection must be framed using Gibb's Reflective Cycle (1988). Ensure that all stages of the reflective cycle are covered in a way that provides for a coherent reflection.

• Scholarly resources are required to support your analysis and future actions. Please use APA7 style.

• Consider the perspectives of others (e.g. client, observer, assessor) in your reflection. • The use of headings in this assessment is recommended.
