Through the project objectives the student will be able:

To demonstrate knowledge of components of effective teaching strategies.
To use a variety of resources to create a lesson plan.
To show knowledge of differentiated instruction and the ability to implement in teaching plans.
To develop an effective lesson plan that will meet the needs of students with mild, moderate, or severe disabilities birth to 21 years.
Application:

The student will create one lesson plan to address a content area such as reading decoding, reading comprehension, oral language, or developmental area for birth to 21, using differentiated instruction.

Items to include:

Evidence of differentiated planning and short-term objectives
Standards of learning or other developmental standards must appear on the lesson plan.
All designated LP components must be included as per the rubric.
At least one strategy is identified and supported by an evidence-based citation for implementation of the target lesson
