Assessment Component B

This assignment is about to demonstrate basic analytical and report writing skills. One of the objectives of this assignment is to assess the understanding of computer network and data communication. The second objective is to assess the understanding of program flow charts.

Part A:

In this part, you are required to draw a flow chart for the following scenario.

You are required to take user grades in 4 modules. Entered marks must be between 0-100. If user enters marks less than 0 or greater than 100, display a message that user entered invalid marks and prompt for the input again.

Once, marks for all the four modules are taken, calculate total marks, and average marks, and display an appropriate message on the basis of the following criteria.

If average marks less than 50, display FAIL.

If average marks are 50 or more, display PASS.

Part B:

Hub, Switch, Router, Bridge, Repeater are the different devices used for computer networking. Write a short report on these devices. Report should include but not limited to the following sections.
1- Title

2- Table of Contents

3- Abstract/executive summary

4- Main section which includes use of devices, features of devices and their comparisons.

5- Summary

6- References

Report should be well structured and must not be exceeding 1000 words.
