Assessment Task
You are required to submit a Research Project proposal that would convince the Industry expert or Board of a research funding body to approve the cost of the research project, in the form of given time away from their normal job responsibilities for an industrial-related innovation or start to conduct the research that would produce the research impacts to the industry and society.

Context
Refer to your Assessment 1, where you identified and articulated a research problem and situated it in the context of the contemporary literature. Also refer to your Assessment 2 where you developed a theoretical framework and identified the relevant research questions and hypothesis/propositions. The orientation of this proposal is not to evaluate other authors or innovator's works, but to create a blueprint for your own research. For this to receive traction with the audience, You need to be able to demonstrate your expert understanding of theoretical knowledge and use of intellectual independence to think critically, evaluate existing knowledge and ideas to propose a systematic research undertaking and reflect on the theory and practical advancement in order to generate the original knowledge in a new light.

Other than your expert technical and creative skills applicable to your field of work or learning, the communication skills to explain and critique theoretical propositions, models and present cogently a complex original research plan to satisfy an Industry Board or Research Funding Body would be crucial to succeed in this task, and the results are to be deliverable to a group of peers and experts in your community of practices.

As this is an individual task, you have the full responsibility and accountability of your personal research outputs, to demonstrate your research capability to systematically innovate, theorise and push the boundary in your chosen field(s).
