what is transmission velocity and how it is different from drit velocity.
Drift velocity-- the actual (physical) velocity of electrons along the wire.
Transmission velocity-- the rate at which information can be transmitted electronically using conducing wires.
How is it possible that the transmission velocity is so much faster (close the speed of light)? Is it clear what my confusion here is? What is the information transmission? In a circuit with no active devices, what information is possibly being transmitted? Is this only reffering to circuits with active devices?
Determine a suitable sampling frequency. Design a notch filter to remove the 50Hz component, paying particular attention to any assumptions you have made in the design.
What is the magnitude of the frequency component at 30 kHz? The square wave is passed through an ideal rectangular low pass filter that completely attenuates all frequencies higher than 35 kHz. Write down an equation for the spectrum at the output ..
You want to download a 5 Mbit file over a 10-Mbps Rayleigh fading channel in the 1800 MHz frequency band. You are traveling at 6 km/h and use 1000-bit packets.
Assessment on Electricity and Circuit Theory, What part of a cable are insulators and conductors? Describe, in terms of charged particles, why some objects are electrically attracted to each other, while others repel each other?
