When developing your answers, you must include (cited) facts to support the major points in your response. 4. Compare and contrast sentencing guidelines with mandatory minimum sentences, including the three aims of each type of sentence.

5. Identify and assess the counterterrorism and counterintelligence provisions of the USA Patriot Act within the context of balancing the government's power with individual privacy.
