Question: For this assignment, pretend that you have been asked to give a presentation to a local board of county commissioners who are deciding whether to fund local environmental health specialists at a newly created district public health agency. It is your task to influence and educate the county commissioners regarding the importance of environmental health services in this newly established public health agency. You will need to create a logical and succinct PowerPoint Presentation with a minimum of 12 slides (not counting the title and reference slides). You may use the textbook, the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) website, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Environmental Health website, and other academic sources as you see fit. Remember, be sure to create a title slide and a reference slide that cites all sources using APA format. Please include at least the following information in your presentation:

1) definition/explanation of environmental health

2) major U.S. environmental health organizations and their roles

3) types of hazards/issues addressed by environmental health professionals

4) types of control methods used by environmental health professionals

5) examples of at least three major environmental health events in history

6) definition/role environmental epidemiology plays in injury and disease prevention/control

7) why environmental health is important in the public health sciences

Please make sure to use the notes section within PowerPoint to create the dialog or script that you would use when speaking to the audience about the information presented on your slide. Your PowerPoint Presentation should be constructed using a serif type font. A serif type font is, in principle (for high-resolution media), and is easier to read than a non-serif type font because the individual characters differ more from each other. The standard is Times New Roman.
