A solution of sodium chloride (NaCl)/starch was placed inside a bag of dialysis tubing. Distilled water was placed in a beaker. The bag containing the sodium chloride/starch was then placed in the beaker. Twenty drops of iodine were then added to the beaker. The initial colors of the solutions were recorded in Table 1 below. After 15 minutes, the final color of the solution in the bag and the solution in the beaker were recorded.
