This discussion will focus on understanding human behavior from the biopsychosocial perspective. Human services professionals need to know how to formulate biopsychosocial descriptions of their clients and how to apply this information when assessing, evaluating, and developing interventions for their clients. In addition, it is important for human services professionals to consider both protective and risk factors that their clients are experiencing and how those can be potential threats or supports of developmental outcomes.
