You should investigate and provide a short report (as an individual not in groups) on the following
• THC Hydra
• John the ripper
• RainbowCrack
• OphCrack
You should experiment with the software and demonstrate that you have understood their configuration, use and utility.
You will be expected to find sources of information.
Requirements
• A brief description of each of the system you setup.
• A description of the results obtained.
• A proposal, with justifications of which you would use in helping perform a security analysis of a computer system.
