Q1. Critically discuss the objectives of copyright law and protection of intellectual property law. Why does Oman need these kinds of laws? Use an applied Oman example to demonstrate your answer.

Despite Oman Government's good and noble intentions Omanisation percentage remains stubbornly low in some industries when it should be high as required by Government of Oman - why is this the case? What changes can Oman institute to improve its investment attractiveness to match or be better than United Arab Emirates and Qatar and reasons thereof?
Q4. Define a contract of employment and what information should be in every contract of employment. Discuss what is an unfair labour practice according to Oman Labour Law and the remedies for it. Why do we continue to see some unfair labour practices in Oman, mainly in the private sector, despite all these rules and regulations by the Oman Government? Quote relevant statutes (Royal Decrees).
Q5. Do an analysis of the purpose and objectives of the Oman court and legal system and what may need to be improved (plus write its structure from the lowest to the highest court in Oman). How does this system contribute to an orderly business environment in Oman?
