The purpose of this assignment is to critically appraise all components of a research study using a different methodology.

Choose a qualitative research article (it is highly recommended to contact your course faculty to ensure you have a research article that is qualitative) from a peer-reviewed journal published within the last 5 years. The research article should be on the topic selected for your EBP/EBM presentation but not a previously reviewed article used to complete weeks 1-3 assignments.
Use primary sources only. Do not use abstracts, opinion pieces, or articles summarizing other researcher's work (secondary source). This means you will not use articles such as descriptive studies, literature reviews, meta-analysis or meta syntheses.
Do not choose a "mixed-method" design. The worksheets are not designed for this type of study.
Do not use articles that describe quality of management improvement studies, you want research based references.
Submit the assignment (as a Word document), a PDF copy of the research article being critiqued Sunday of Week 4, by 2359. Assignment will not be graded unless a PDF version of the article is submitted with the assignment. Late penalty will be applied until all pieces of the assignment are submitted.

The answers should reflect your critical analysis of the article and include a short rationale for your answers when appropriate. Use the textbook to support your answers.
