Introduction
Introduce the purpose of the task: interviewing an Educational Leader or Mentor about STREAM curriculum. Briefly explain the importance of STREAM in early childhood and why leadership in curriculum design matters. Mention who you interviewed (their role, not name) and where (e.g., community preschool, long day care centre). End with a roadmap, for example "This paper will present insights from the interview, critically analyse ..."
Set the scene for your reader. Introduce the service (type, location, be general only, e.g., 'urban preschool'), and the interviewee (e.g., "Educational Leader with 10 years of experience"). Summarise howyou conducted the interview (face-to-face, online, duration). Provide the main focus areas of your questions (STREAM integration, planning, pedagogies, child-centred curriculum, family engagement).
This is the biggest section. Critically analyse how the service integrates STREAM learning. Start by describing one example the leader shared (example, plant growth). Show how at least two STREAM areas were integrated. Critically discuss strengths and limitations. Then propose an extension by adding another STREAM area. Justify your extension with theory and research (don't forget the in-text citations that match your reference list!). Always connect to EYLF outcomes.
Critically evaluate the strengths and challenges of the experience described. Strengths might include: hands-on, inquiry-based, ... Challenges might include: limited resources, time constraints... Use academic literature to back up your evaluation. Avoid just describing - Focus on analysis: what worked, what didn't, and why it matters for children's learning. No AI shortcuts — Only authentic assignment help from real expert tutors.
Explicitly link the learning experience to EYLF principles and outcomes. Show how it aligns with the EYLF outcomes. NOTE: The connections are discussed in relation to the relevant outcomes. It is NOT necessary for every experience to align with all five outcomes. Instead, the focus is on the What to Include / Detailed Explanation (with examples) outcomes that are most evident and meaningful within this particular learning context. DON'T just list the outcomes but discuss. Integrate multiple academic sources (minimum 6 overall in the paper). Compare what the leader described with what research says: do they align? Does the leader's practice reflect best evidence?
Summarise key insights from your interview and reflection.
DON'T INCLUDE NEW INFORMATION HERE! Revisit how STREAM was integrated, the strengths and challenges of the experience, and your proposed extension. Re-emphasise the importance of aligning practice with EYLF and using research to inform curriculum leadership. End with a forward-looking statement, for example: "This reflection highlights
