• Ch. 2, "The Strategy Change Cycle: An Effective Strategic Planning and Management Approach for Public and Nonprofit Organizations."

Select 1 organization you would like to use for the Week 6 Summative Assessment: Strategic Analysis Proposal. Consider the following examples:

• Criminal justice organizations: U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Phoenix Police Department, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, local law enforcement agency

• Security organizations: Allied Universal, G4S, Security Industry Association (SIA), local large industry or business

Review your selected organization's website to learn about their most recent strategic plan (i.e., within the last 5 years).

Brainstorm a strategic issue you would like to address if you worked for this organization (e.g., body-worn cameras, biometric identification, inmate classification, natural disaster mitigation, loss prevention, future issues relating to security or criminal justice, or contractor accountability).
