Draw a dichotomous key (flow chart) to use in the identification of your unknown
You will receive one of the following strains:
Aeromonas sobria (Gm-, rod, acid-fast -, capsule -, spore -)
Bacillus subtilis
Enterococcus faecalis (Gm+, coccus, acid fast -, capsule +, spore -)
Klebsiella pneumoniae (Gm- rod, acid fast -, capsule +, spore -)
Mycobacterium phlei
Staphylococcus epidermidis

Our strains will be grown on solid media, so cell arrangement will probably not be diagnostic.Notice that the objective is to use the tests (the stains we've learned) to narrow down the choices until only one strain remains that matches all the results, and to do this for each of the possibilities.
