The tasks

This assessment will help you build knowledge on data formats, storage, retrieval, analysis, and visualisation techniques of dashboard design. For this assessment, you will be provided with data files via the Moodle unit website. You need to manually download the files from the Moodle site and analyse data using the Power BI desktop tool. For each task, use the Power BI tool, generate the output by executing the Power BI functions on the given dataset in the PBIX file, and save the screenshots of the output. Save all output screenshots and analysis on the generated outputs in a Word document. The Word file is required to be submitted as a report for marking. Each task should be numbered correctly for marking. Also, your worked PBIX file is needed to be submitted in a zip format.

Data analysis and report visualisation:

i. Modify the column names if it is necessary) and upload the data from the Moodle unit website into the Power BI editor. Write down the process with a proper screenshot.

ii. Add a title called "American Bank" and a logo (you can use any bank related image from internet) on the power bi report.

iii. Change the background colour of your report page and create a measure name called "Total balance" and show using card on the report.

iv. Create measures called "House Owner Balance" and "Rental Balance" and show this information using Card on the Power BI report page and put a small description on it.

v. Create measures called "Male Balance" and "Female Balance" and show this information using Card on the Powe BI report page and put a small description on it.

vi. Create a Card on education and show it on the report page and put a small explanation.

vii. Create a Card on Job Classification and show it on the report page and put a small explanation.

viii. Create a Donut chart of Total Balance by Job Classification and put your small description.

ix. Create Pie Chart of Total Balance by Education. Write a small description on it.

x. Create Clustered column chart of Total Balance by Education. Write a small description on it.

xi. Create a Stacked bar chart of Total Balance by Marital status. Write a small description on it.

xii. Create map using Customer ID, Balance, and State. Write a small description on it.

xiii. Create a Stacked bar chart to show the loan default information. Write a small description on it.

xiv. Create a stacked column chart to show the Martial status using Customer ID. Write a small description on it.

xv. Write a conclusion on your overall analysis and why the data visualisation is important in the data analysis.
