Overview
For this project, you will create a comprehensive classroom management plan that creates a positive learning environment for a chosen age group, taking into consideration their specific needs, challenges and developmental milestones. You will choose an age group to focus on (e.g., elementary). The format of the written plan is flexible but must cover each of the following components: age group overview, physical classroom environment, cognitive environment, social environment, communication strategies, and evaluation and monitoring.
Instruction
For this assignment, you will write a report detailing each component of the classroom environment plan, including research findings, physical classroom environment, cognitive environment, communication strategies, social activities and evaluation methods. You will also explain the importance of the humanistic learning theory and how you integrate the concept into your practice. Include a thoughtful and critical analysis of what you have read,
demonstrating an understanding of key classroom management concepts drawn from the module resources and your own research.
Project Components
