ROJECT - DEVELOPMENT CHART INSTRUCTIONS
Part I:
After evaluating your previous charts and making any revisions necessary, create an advance organizer for 1 lesson using each of the three methods (expository, narrative, and graphical).
For the expository, write out a script of what you will say to describe the new content you are about to cover in class.
For the narrative, present your presentation of the new material in story form.
For the graphical, create an original pictograph, chart, or concept pattern that shows the link from previously learned material to the newly introduced material. This pictograph should be created using Word, should be in color, and must not be reproduced from any existing material. The item should be suitable to display in a classroom to convey core concepts of your curriculum.
Part II:
Describe the pictograph AND copy and paste the actual pictograph or chart into the assignment in the space provided.
Part III:
Complete the chart, Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction, by addressing each of the nine issues provided in the chart with a description of how your instruction will address each issue during a the lesson. You must provide a reference from the text as to why your chosen approach should be effective.
