Question: "Find a Campsite" has called you back in to complete a project to help their campsites with bookings.
The company has a model where the head office takes bookings from customers and then feed the bookings to individual campgrounds. The campgrounds allocate camping sites, generate a confirmation for the customers. The campgrounds also do daily totals and send that summary back to the head office.
You have been asked to create an application for one of the campgrounds (which coincidently has a campground number that matches your student ID). Your application will take bookings one at time, allocate a campsite, create a confirmation for the customer and at the end of the day create a summary of the transactions and report back to Head Office. Specifically:
Download a booking one by one from Head Office and store them in a collection in a NoSQL Document Database stored in your Microsoft Azure Account. You should create a collection with details about bookings - customer information, campsites, overall cost. etc. You need to design (and justify) your database.
Note that all booking records in the Head Office database have the campground number set to 1. You will need to change this to your campground number (your student ID). A customer can book 1 or more campsites for a particular date. All campsites are booked for 7 days and start on a Saturday. You can assume the booking IDs are sequential as they were taken from customers.
Determine which campsite (s) you will allocate to this customer booking. You should setup a collection with information about campsites in your campground -site number, site size (Small, Medium, Large), available dates, site daily rate (you determine your prices but should be in the range of $50-$70 pn based on size), etc. You can assume there is always enough campsites for the bookings.
For each booking you will need to produce a customer confirmation with customer details, bookings details, campsite details and costs. You determine the format. You should store this confirmation in your booking collection. You choose how to store it - pdf, data, etc.
At the end of a day's bookings, you should summarise the bookings for the day in a single table in a SQL database stored in your Microsoft Azure Account. This table should contain at least the date, total bookings, total sales. This summary should be written to the Head Office SQL database with your campground number.
Repeat the above process for all days in the Head Office booking database.

This task gives you the opportunity to create a program implementing a given real-world problem. You will design your databases, use Python to link to a central database, and perform the application requirements.
