1. A container with two moveable pistons is filled with incompressible oil with a specific gravity of 0.8. The larger piston has an area of 10,000 mm2 and on it is a car with weight of 10,000 N and a specific gravity of 2.0. How much force must be applied to the smaller piston(which has an area of 10 mm2) to keep the car at a constant height?

2.If the car is allowed to sink by 1 mm (and thus push the large piston down by 1 mm), how far does the small piston rise?
