1. Construct a SWOT analysis of the new venture with a reasonable feasibility assessment.

2. Formulate the primary components of a typical business plan and select organizational form for new venture.

Part A - For this section of the business plan you will select your business structure, so, please go back and complete this section in your business plan. Also be sure that you include any information about how you will need to register with the state and the federal governments for that type of business.

For your marketing plan, complete the SWOT analysis and also work on the marketing plan so that you are able to project your sales. Complete Section IV Marketing Plan. At minimum you need to provide an overview of how you plan to market the business, a promotional budget and a sales projection. You may revise prior sections. Submit the business plan to your instructor.

Part B - For this part of the assignment, you will write 1-2 pages on the taxes that your new organization will need to consider and/or pay. For this section, visit your state's Secretary of State website and your state's Department of Revenue website. You will need to address licensing fees, income taxes, unemployment taxes, sales taxes, employer withholding taxes, social security withholding, self-employment tax, corporate or business taxes, etc. Be sure that you address the business, the owners, and the employees. This is not directly a part of the business plan, but every entrepreneur needs to know about their taxes, licenses, and fees. Submit this part of the assignment separately from the business plan.
